Going Green
Using the PAPJAZZ festival as a visibility platform to create awareness around the urgency in Haiti for the population and the authorities to start being eco-conscious, an on-going “green” program was created, it involved the hosting of a conference through the Belgium Embassy on how to host and “eco-conscious event”, the manufacturing and distribution of re-usable shopping bags and drinking cups, hiring a local influencer to create live awareness on stage before and between the concerts and to encourage the public to “adopt” a tree to participate in the reforestation of the Parc national La Visite.
