Music Workshops
We believe that it’s mostly through knowledge transfer that the young promising Haitian musicians are learning and are acquiring their skills. We thus offer, at every opportunity that arises, free workshops taught by nationally recognized professionals on various topics in the capital but also in the provinces.
Moreover, for the past 13 years, during the week of the PAPJAZZ Festival, we have been offering 15 free workshops hosted by the performing foreign artists. Being exposed to Jazz stars has instilled, in the young jazz musicians’ heart, the desire to surpass themselves.
Today we can pride ourselves in having participated in the creation of new generation of jazz musicians.

With the support of the US Embassy in Haiti, 8 interactive training sessions has been offered in Port-au-Prince and Cap-Haitian to more than 70 musicians and music professionals.
– 4 sessions on drum and percussion techniques from different cultures, including the Middle East, the Far East and India including specific techniques for Djembe, Cajon, Doumbek, shakers, Frame Drums and a variety of tambourines.
– 4 session on music as a business.
