Expo Toto Bissainthe
Haitian actress, singer, author and songwriter Toto Bissainthe is one of the icons of Haitian culture. In 2014, the Haiti Jazz Foundation created a travelling exhibition in tribute to this great artist. A digital exhibition with twenty testimonial videos for a total of 80 minutes broadcasted on three different iPads located where the exhibitions took place. Excerpts from archive videos (interviews & concerts) and music were also broadcasted on a plasma screen. The expo also included forty archives photos of her work on stage (20”x30”) mounted on 3mm PVC boards. The expo has so far travelled to Haiti (Port-au-Prince & Cap Haitian), Martinique and Paris.
